Cleaning Time

Well since, i had to stay put for a few days @ home..and since the wife was working..
it was Cleaning Time..
Here's my clean glass collection :)

Bad Santa

I was supposed to go to Mammoth w/ the Irish and Sup for 5 days of snowboarding.
But i got sick on Christmas day. I've caught a cold. So far i've been sick for 4 days..
Yeah, the Couch Coach is back.
Oh well, Shit happens!

Good X-mas
Anyway, we had a very nice dinner @ the Summers (Vanessa & Kevin).
Cheese canapes, Foie Gras, Saucisson, Shrimps, homemade AppleCider, Swordfish, Special pasta for Sophie, homemade Creme Brulee were au rendez -vous!
A lotta food for 4 people..but eh..it's Xmas..
We also had a lotta gifts..but we had to wait midnite (Sophie insisted on that)..
Meanwhile, we watched Nemo and when Sophie woke up around 1AM we all opened the presents.

Xmas at Disney

We just come back from Disney's Theme parks in Anaheim, two days of fun!!!
On Wednesday afternoon we started to visit Disneyland and Tomorrowland, "StarTours" is a little bit too much eighties and "Honey I shrunk the audience" was average, then in New Orleans square we visited the Haunted Mansion it was magic! "Its a small World" too special holyday we were in a boat surrounded by puppets fom all over the world singing Xmas songs.
The Christmas Parade was beautiful then Vanessa and Kevin joined us for the evening part we did a mad tea party in the cups under the firework, at high speed.
The park is closing early during winter time so at 8pm we rushed to Disney's Downtown to have a drink, when Vanessa and Kevin left we tried to find a restaurant to eat fast impossible the average waiting time was 30 minutes before getting a table, finally we ate a Rain Forest Cafe average price and average food but not so bad.
We spent the night in the Coast Anaheim Hotel *** really I recommend it except that you have to pay 8 bucks to park your car; this hotel is brand new in front of the Hilton it has a swimming pool and big rooms.
The following day we had so much fun that we decided to buy the Southern California Annual Passport so we could go in both park. We spent almost all the day in "California Adventure" I recommend "California Screamin" a huge roller coaster with beautiful sights. We ate a salad under the sun close to the lake of Fishermans' warf drying the cloth after "the Grizzly River Run".
The afternoon we explored the Hollywood Pictures Backlot with the show of Aladdin (not my stuff but Dominic liked it )and we loved the "Muppets Show 3D" a good and funny show to remember the old time."Disney Animation" is agreat place where you can spend easily one hour to understand how the cartoons are made with lot of interactivity such as computers where you can dub your favorite Disney's character or do a personnality test to discover which character you could be.
The evening we came back to Disneyland to ride the Jungle Cruise in the dark and Indiana Jones in Adventure Land we finished by Pirates of the Caribbean, really beautiful!!!
We finished the day around a table in Disney's Downton at "Naples Ristorante e pizzeria" delicious!!!

Halloween 2003

That was an awesome night.
We partied all nite long w/ Kevin, Vanessa and Karlins..
We went to Hollywood for the parade..but it started to rain a lot around 10 PM..
It was raining so bad..that we were soaked in a few minutes..
But we still had a lotta fun...
Great great nite..Even Kida was dressed up..
Next time, we'll bring Taco along.. ;)

I went to check out Pam & Cherryl' stand @ the annual Abbot Kinney Festival..
Was really nice..Nice event..big crowd..food, beers and fun were present all day..
Really nice & creative hand-crafted jewelry .. check it out.

Nina & Luis' Wedding

Inglewood, CA
Saturday, October 18th

Sophie and I, we've been invited to the marriage of Nina and Luis..
Nina used to work w/ Sophie..
The ceremony was very nice..and the priest spoke Spanish all the time...
but the newlyweds thought about everything..and there was an English translator for the non-Spanish speaking crowd.
The dinner was set in the Cheesecake Factory in Redondo Beach..nice place again..with a wonderful sight..
The program that nite included everything:
- Opening prayer
- Toasts
- Dinner
- Speeches by the best man, bride and groom
- First Dance
- Dollar Dance
- Cake cutting
- Bouquet and garter toss
- Dancing

Very, very well organized...food was good (Charbroiled Filet Mignon, Mahi Mahi, Chicken Madeira),
people was dancing all nite long on some south american music.

A lotta things happened since October..last time we updated our weblog.
We've been to Sophie's friend's wedding, Halloween party in Hollywood, Karlins' birthday, Vanessa's birthday, Amsterdam, Bear Mountain, SFO..
The wife is pretty lazy those days, so i guess i'll have to do everything by myself...
