Zilker Park
Zilker Park is one of the oldest park around it is located close to downtown Austin.
You can ride the train, rent a canoe and paddle all along the city on the Colorado river, or swim in Barton spring pool: http://www.ci.austin.tx.us/parks/bartonsprings.htm
